For students appearing in the January 2026 JEE Main examination, the focus in Mathematics must now shift to systematic practice and refinement. At this stage, learning new material is less important than consolidating and mastering what has already been studied.
Begin with PYQs (Previous Years’ Questions). These are the most reliable guide to the JEE Main exam pattern. A striking feature of JEE Main is that questions are drawn again and again from the same models and archetypes, often with only minor variations.
Work through PYQs chapter by chapter. This helps in revising concepts in a focused way while also revealing the recurring styles of questioning.
Students may also take advantage of the JEE Main Test Series offered by JEEMath, where chapter-wise tests are built entirely from PYQs, giving the discipline of timed practice, the rhythm of examination conditions, and clear insights into strengths and weaknesses.
